Residential Burglary - Queen Elizabeth Court, Oakworth Road, Keighley BD21

Dear Resident,

Between 11.45pm on 28/04/2025 and 12.45am on 29/04/2025, a burglary took place at a flat in Queen Elizabeth Court, Keighley. The victim was in bed when they were woken by the suspect climbing in through a bedroom window. The victim shouted at the suspect who made off on foot in an unknown direction. The suspect was wearing a hooded top with the hood up pulled tight over their face. 

Now the warmer weather is here, most people will sleep with a bedroom window open. Consider locking your windows partially open if your locks have this facility, or consider a security lock similar to the image below. This is more important if your bedroom is on the ground floor or easily accessible.
